Step 1. Disconnect from the Internet
To prevent malware, viruses and trojans spreading on your Windows PC, you’d better disconnect your PC from the Internet.
Step 2. Delete Temporary Files
Get rid of all the temporary files to speed up the files scanning process.
Step 3. Enter Safe Mode
Boot your PC into the Safe Mode to make the malicious files to be deleted easier.

Step 4. Run Anti-Malware Software to Remove Malware from a Windows PC
The best way to remove malware (a virus or trojan) from a Windows PC is to use a reliable malware removal utility tool. Run anti-malware software (i.e. Avast and Malwarebytes) and make a full scan of your PC to scan out the viruses, trojans, worms, etc. Once the malware, viruses or trojans are found, follow the instructions to delete them.

Don’t use more than one Anti-Malware programs. That will cause interference. Go with one Antivirus and one Anti-Malware instead. (Yeah, they are different)
